1. What MidasFlip is
MidasFlip is a market-information tool for Hypixel SkyBlock: a website, an API, and an open-source Minecraft client mod that show auction-house and bazaar data, price estimates, and your own trading history built from public market records. MidasFlip displays information. Every trade is executed by you, in the game, by your own physical input.
2. Not affiliated, and not risk-free
MidasFlip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Hypixel Inc., Mojang, or Microsoft. Hypixel's server rules are Hypixel's to interpret and enforce. We designed MidasFlip to be lower-risk by architecture (it never automates gameplay), but we do not and cannot promise that any third-party tool is permitted or "safe". You use it at your own judgment and risk, including the risk of account moderation by Hypixel.
3. Your account
You need a free account to use the mod and API; paid features require a paid plan. The public board on our homepage is viewable without an account. Keep your credentials and API keys to yourself; you are responsible for activity under them. You can revoke keys on your account page at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (automated scraping beyond fair per-user limits, including automated purchasing or gameplay driven by the feed, resale of the data feed, attacks on the service, or market-manipulation schemes).
4. Payments
Paid plans are sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar handles the checkout, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Gold is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel; cancelling stops future charges and Gold stays active until the end of the paid period. The Founder plan is a one-time purchase that grants the Gold feature set for the lifetime of the MidasFlip service (see section 7), limited to 200 seats. Polar collects and remits applicable taxes; the checkout shows the final price before you pay.
During early access, some Gold features may be available free of charge; this is temporary and does not create an entitlement to those features outside a paid plan.
5. Refunds
See the refund policy. Short version: 14-day money-back on your first purchase, no questions asked.
6. The data and its limits
Estimates, confidence scores, and every other number we show are computed from publicly available market records. They are information, not financial advice and not a promise of profit. Markets move; numbers can be wrong; manipulated listings exist. We show our work (comps, confidence, and flags) precisely so you can judge each number yourself. In-game coins are not real-world currency, and MidasFlip never touches real-world trading of game assets.
7. Service changes and lifetime
We can change, add, or retire features as the product evolves. "Lifetime" for Founder means the lifetime of the MidasFlip service, not of any person or company. If we ever shut the service down permanently, we will say so publicly with reasonable notice; that ends the service for everyone, including Founder seats.
8. The client mod
The client mod is open source under GPL-3.0. Its license governs the code; these terms govern the service it connects to. If you build a modified client, the same fair-use limits on the API apply to it.
9. No warranty; liability cap
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and note it on the site. Using the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
